Question 1

Does Embasis send user data or prompts to cloud AI data centers?

Accepted Answer

With a local model selected, language-model inference runs on your device. Connected features such as web search, maps, weather, and some speech paths use external services. Any optional cloud mode has a different processing boundary; see the privacy policy and feature settings.

Question 2

How does Embasis use Apple MapKit for Smart Notifications?

Accepted Answer

Smart ETA uses Apple Maps route estimates and permitted location access to help calculate a departure time. Routes require online services, and notifications and background updates depend on permissions and system limits.

Question 3

Can Embasis operate offline without Wi-Fi or cellular service?

Accepted Answer

Supported local conversations and writing can work offline after model setup. Downloads, web search, news, maps, weather, and some speech recognition paths need a connection.

Question 4

What is Embasis Paper?

Accepted Answer

Embasis Paper is an on-device AI writing companion for iOS. Drafts, notes, and brainstorms receive local neural model feedback on-device with complete privacy and zero data collection.

Question 5

What is Penyo Embasis?

Accepted Answer

Penyo Embasis is a private-first personal AI app for texting and real-time voice calling. All conversations, speech processing, and neural responses run 100% locally on Apple Silicon without cloud audio recording or accounts.
